Shelves elevators are particularly suitable for products that need to be moved vertically in a small space, where spiral design solutions would be too bulky and continuous-flow systems and with opposed chains prove unfit for the correct handling of the product.

The step by step elevators are suitable for limited production rates (a few dozens of beats per minute).
